Managing buyer enquiries

Buyer enquiries land in the Enquiries tab on the seller dashboard. Each enquiry shows the buyer's name, contact details, and the listing they are interested in.

You can reply directly from the dashboard — your message goes via the BusinessSales system, so the buyer's email address stays masked until you both agree to share details.

Confidential listings — the deed flow

For listings configured as confidential, the buyer first signs a confidentiality deed. The signed deed appears in the enquiry detail page once completed; only after that point are the full listing details (name of business, address, exact financials) revealed to the buyer.

Archiving and restoring enquiries

If a buyer is not engaging or is not a fit, you can archive the enquiry from the same view. Archived enquiries can be restored within 30 days; after that they are deleted permanently.
